About us
Based in Petersfield, Hampshire, we are
a family run business, passionate about quality teas and coffees
sharing the same premises as our sister company Django’s
Café where the quality of our espressos and cappuccinos
is of paramount importance, we specialise in imported fine
coffees from all the major growing areas in the world which
are all hand-roasted locally using the traditional slow roast
method for a fuller flavour. And not just coffee, we also
have a wide and varied selection of teas from Asia for all
palates.
The supermarkets have been selling brand
names in vacuum packed pre ground form for the convenience
of the customer for many years. We don’t do that, we
sell coffee beans that have been roasted, often the night
before sale, and we are happy to grind the beans on the premises
for you. However, we would always advise you to buy the beans
whole and grind them yourself for the best flavour just before
brewing. So why not call in and try a cup of espresso, cappuccino
or a cafetiere of the beans of your choice before buying?
We also have a wide and varied selection
of loose leaf teas and infusions, from green teas to the oxidised
black teas and the perfumed teas of China and India.
In Bireli’s you will also find coffee
and tea making goods from unbleached filter papers through
to state of the art domestic espresso machines, which we will
always be happy to advise on.

help choose a coffee for you. You may wish to create your
own blend of different coffee beans or teas which, of course
we would be pleased to help you with. Alternatively you may
already have a favourite coffee or tea which we do not list.
